Quick subtasks - Create subtasks when creating an issue

We have a requirement where we want to create an issue and also create some subtasks at the same time.

I have copied a simple task workflow and edited the transition "create" to include a post-function to create the subtask but it doesn't work...

Can someone point me in the right direction?  Shouldn't this work?

Hi Mike,

The order of the post-function on the transition will play a significant role. Which position are the sub-task creation post-functions placed? Can you post a screenshot if possible?

What post-function are you using, and what "doesn't work"?  Are you getting errors in the logs?  (I assume no sb-tasks are created, but there may be other symptoms of "doesn't work")
