Random errors only fixed by Indexing

We are seeing errors that can only be fixed by a full indexing. Here are the errors that seems to happen every 2 - 3 days.

• Error on comment tab or linking tab
• lost of issues types from issue type scheme
• no JIRA activity listed in the activity gadget
• errors stating SQL exception

Not all errors happen at the same time, nor do they always happen on the same project. After indexing these issues are resolved for a few days then seem to break again.

Only thing that has changed is that i did import a workflow from another JIRA instance around the time that I started seeing these issues.

Try to run "Integrity Checker" and then give JIRA a restart.

Harry, Thanks, I did run the integrity checker last week and found a couple of errors. after they were fixed, I restarted JIRA and ran a Full index. This cleared all the issues for about 3 days then they started again. Thanks, Billy
