Rank not working

I have projects setup using Greenhopper and I have the Rank field enabled.

On the Plannign Board I can drag my items up and down to reorder them but when I move onto another screen and come back again the changes revert back. Looking at it again when I reorder the Jiras they physically move on the screen but the value in the Rank field does not change.

Any suggesttions?

Hi Mark,

have you tried optimizing or repairing the rank field ? Sometimes we had a problem with the order of tasks and their subtasks. After optimizing the rank field, everything was fine again.

I went through this with Atlassian supoprt and I had to add in the Global Rank field where I only originally had the Rank field. Not too sure why this is but anyway it works!
