I have 2 sprints of 2 different projects. Board A has only issue of Project A, and Board B has only issue of Project B.
When I renamed A to C, B is changed to C, too. And vice versa.
I expected it's 2 different sprints, not one
Sprints do not belong to projects, and can (and will) appear on any board that might have issues that are in them.
I suspect you don't have 2 sprints, but only 1. So when you change its name, the new name is shown in all the places the sprint is shown in.
How do I check if it is 1 sprint or 2 sprints? I tried to find its ID but it seems like there is not ID for sprint. I wonder if sprints are identified by their names, that's why they don't have IDs.
Your answer may explain why that sprint only shows issues of project A on board A, and shows issues of project B on board B.

Hover the cursor over the name of a sprint, you'll see a url appear as a tip in the browser (firefox does it at the bottom left for example). That will end with id=x, where x is the unique database id of the sprint.

@Nic Brough -Adaptavist- I have no idea why both boards can display the same sprint. Is there any way to avoid this issue?
To who use new view of Jira Cloud, ID of sprint can be found in Backlog > hove on ... button (on the right of sprint name).
