The 500 internal error you are facing is a known bug in the import client of Trello to Jira application that we're currently working to get fixed:
Trello Import to Jira throws 500 error
Feel free to vote and watch the bug to increase its priority and also receive notifications about its fix implementation.
Although we don't have a workaround to make the client work at this moment, you can use other methods to migrate your cards to Jira, as JSON and CSV formats (This last one if you are using the Business Class plan). To import your data to Jira (JSON or CSV), refer to the documentation below. P.S: We also suggest exporting an issue from Jira in the format you want to import, so you can have a template of how you should structure your import file:
