What does this mean, or what is still happening when you index a project and it says it's 100% complete, but you still only have the refresh button, not an Acknowledge button (This appears some time later). Is the indexing effectively done at the initial 100% completed, or not until the Acknowledgement button appears?
In an example, a project with many issues (10k+) is indexed, and the index status page indicates 100% complete at 44 minutes, 20 seconds elapsed. But it's still cycling and the Acknowledgement button doesn't appear until 2 hrs 15 minutes.
We are actually investigating this exact same issue. We run the reindex for a project, it shows it has completed and marked 100% but the acknowledge button is no where to be found.
Why will it say is completed and at 100%, if it's not?
We are using Data Center v8.20.11, could it be that there's a newer version that fixes this?
Facing same issue on Jira v8.20.8. can consider indexing completed?

9.12.12 still has the same problem.
The part after reaching 100% takes longer than the part before.
Does anyone know if there's a ticket already open for this?

Same. 9.12.12 here. 14 hours later and it's still 100% (already here 2 hours in) with no acknowledge button.

Hi @Tad Foster
The process keep working until you have the acknowledge button from what I have been able to observe.

They mystery to me is what is happening between the time it says 100% Complete, but the Acknowledge button does not appear for some time (significant in a project with a large volume of issues).

Not sure if it's the explanation but I noticed that between the 100% and acknowledge, JIRA seems to write index stats.
