Hi, we are a small marketing agency from Budapest (15 person). We just want to switch to Atlassian because we are looking for a tool where we can see all of our company in one place (company issues, clients, projects, file sharing, etc. in a centralized location).
I guess confluence is the right solution for us but should we use Jira Core too for task management, projects, etc. or confluence is good for that too by itself?
What's the main difference and is it better to integrate them? For example see Jira core tasks on a confluence page?
Thank you in advance,
Marcell Bartok
This really depends on your requirements. Confluence is really good to help you create, organize, discuss and confirm plans about marketing, where Jira will help you Track and visualize all tasks associated with a marketing project.
You may refer to the following overviews for Marketing Teams:
Jira: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/core/marketing
Confluence: https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/marketing
You make also be interested with the detailed ebook at the end of the following page: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiracorecloud/using-jira-core-for-marketing-projects-765593064.html
Thank you! I think I'm going to use both. Is there a documentation or tutorial on how to integrate them?
Thanks,
Marcell
