API for distinguishing JIRA Cloud or Jira server/Data Center

Is there any API to identity if a URL corresponding to a JIRA instance is Cloud version or Server/DC version?

Am aware of distinguishing them manually from the UI, but is there any automatic way to find it out?

Cloud instances always have the structure xyz.atlassian.net
