API token is not working for greenhopper queries

API token is not working for greenhopper queries, could you please help us on this where do i need to check and fix this issue. 

for GET function it's working fine but for put function it's not working.

Hi Nivetha,

Your question is marked as Jira Server, although we only support tokens natively in Jira Cloud. Is it possible you're using one of the following plugins for Jira Server to create auth tokens?:

Knowing for sure if you are on Jira Server or Jira Cloud would be helpful too. It's easiest to tell this by the URL - for example a Jira Server instance will typically be something like jira.yourcompany.com, while Jira Cloud always ends in atlassian.net.

Once we've sorted your Jira environment and know how the tokens are being created, we can dig into the API authentication issue.

Thank you so much Daniel for your response , i got the point i already have "API Token Authentication for Jira " this plugin let me try with "API Tokens for Jira".
