I have an active user with site access that is no longer available in the "assignee" dropdown. I have been able to assign him to tasks for years, but suddenly he is no longer available on the "assignee" list or using @ in the comments sections. Could someone help? .
He does have access to Jira. He is able to assign the ticket to himself. But he is not visible in the dropdown

Hello @Gurunathan Raju
Is this true for all projects or only some projects? Have you checked the user's membership in roles/groups that have the Assignable User permission for the project?
Have you confirmed that the user still has site access and access to JIRA Software?

Hi @Gurunathan Raju - take a look at this previous post and try out the suggestions, especially the permission helper one.

I tried this one but no luck. I even checked on the System Permission helper but the user doesn't appear even there.
