Actual Date/actual End dependency in Subtasks

Hello everyone,

Need a small support

i have created automation for subtasks and in that 

it have Actual start date and actual end date 

for e.g

in subtask 1 actual end date is empty when ever its filled then its should copy the same to

subtask 2 actual start  

(actual end date = actual start date of next subtask)

like wise same to every subtasks

i want to achieve this

 

please share your valuable experience

You noted that you already have an automation rule.  Please post images of your automation rule and the audit log details.  This will provide context for the community to offer suggestions.  Thanks!

Next, you note wanting to assign date fields based upon changes to date fields in dependent subtasks.

  • When do you change those date fields?  For example, when issues change status?
  • How do you indicate "dependency" between subtasks?
