Add Hyperlink to Workflow Validator Error Message

Hi, 

I'm trying to add a hyperlink to a workflow validator error message. I have tried the following formats with no luck: 

[Link Text|URL]

<a href="url">Link Text</a> 

Neither of these seem to work. Is there a way to go about this?

I don't believe it is possible based on my earlier attempts. Would love to be proven wrong. I ended up informing the user to copy/paste the url.
