Add Next-Gen issue on Non Next-Gen Board

Abidin Ali October 28, 2018

Hi Everyone,

I just tried Next-Gen project last week and have been trying to add next gen project issue to my older board (Scrum) so would be able to manage all issue in one board. I already set my (scrum) board filter query to add my new Next-Gen project key, the issues show in the list while editing the filter query but not when i access backlog menu on my Scrum Project menu.

Is there any missing step or configuration that i made? or its actually not possible?

Regards,

Abidin

Issues are not "next-gen" or anything else.  An issue is an issue.

You can set your boards (which draw in issues) to be scrum, kanban or next-gen.

Yes i do think the same way, my purpose is to view issues across project type (next-gen or non next-gen) in one board. But i still unable to see my new NextGen project issues in my board after adding NextGen project name in my configured board filter.

I just found out, my board & filters configuration is the reason why some of  my next-gen issues not appear on my sprint board.
