Add a new screen issue type to an existing project which shares a screen scheme

jdreizler May 26, 2022

I have a project that has a shared screen scheme.  I want to add a new issue type/screen to my project that is NOT shared with the other projects. The menu in projects under screens does not allow me to add an additional screen scheme i can only "Edit Screens" which will add it to all the projects sharing the scheme or "Use a Different Scheme".

Can i have multiple schemes on a project where one of the schemes is shared or do i have to create a new scheme which encompasses all my screens w/o affecting other projects or is there a way to hid screens on a project basis?

Thanks

No, you can only have one issue type screen scheme per project.

You'll need to create a new one (copy the existing one probably), associate it with the project you want to change, and then change the screen schemes it maps to issues.

Nic, Thanks.  Is there a way of associating an issue type to a specific project so it only appears on the one project of a shared scheme/workflow?
