Hello,

I would like to ask if it is possible to make a task to block another one in an FF (finish to finish) relationship, instead of FS (finish to start).

Thank you.

Hi @Vasilis Angelakis

It is a common question. Dependencies are not really enforced in Jira automatically. So even if you link issue-1 to issue-2 using blocks link type, it is just a type of link. You can use this information in a roadmap or create some reports out of it.

If you use Advanced Roadmaps then there is an option to use concurrent/sequential dependencies.

Hello @Ravi Sagar _Sparxsys_

Thank you for your assistance; so if I understood correctly, due to limitations of Advanced Roadmaps vs , e.g., MS Project, I have to manually set the said issues to finish at the same date.

I cannot block somehow issue 1 to be considered as Done, until issue 2 is not finished, correct?

BR,

Vasilis
