Adding additional issues to Epics?

In a company managed project in Jira Cloud, there are only options to create new issues in an Epic. Is it possible to search for existing issues and add them?

I see a similar option exists on Team managed projects but why not in Company managed projects?

Hey Bill,

Not that functionality does not exist in Jira Software projects. But if you go to an issue and start typing in the Epic Link field, you should be able to search for the Epic.

Yep, understood. Our team was hoping to use the search/add from the Epic side.

Yeah, it's a shame you can't do it there.
