Adding an Emoji to Custom field drop down values shows as inverted question mark in JIRA Server

Requirement is to add Project health status colors to JIRA drop down list of values - Red, Yellow and Green.

We have 2 instances - JIRA Pre production and JIRA Production

Emojis don't have any issues in Pre production servers but production server is showing the emojis as inverted question mark.

Are there any configurations needs to be updated?

Only difference I see is Pre prod has Jira version 8.18 and in Production it is 8.20

Did you check it on the same web browser or did you check it on various browsers? Also from where you copy emojis? I tested on emojis from:

- https://emojipedia.org/

- https://getemoji.com/

and everything works fine.

Did you try use other emojis to check if problem exist with all emojis?

Did you try edit value and re-enter value with emoji again?

I tried multiple times. Like I said one of the data center server it works fine where I have the latest version of 8.20 but in 8.13 version i have this issue.
