Adding custom field to OPEN ISSUES view in SCRUM board

Hi,

I have a SCRUM board setup and created a custom field.  When I'm in the OPEN ISSUES view, I can see my custom field when I EDIT a record. 

When I'm just viewing this record (not editing) on the OPEN ISSUES view, the custom field is not displayed.  Can I make it display here?

I suspect the field has no data for the issue you are looking at.  Jira hides empty fields in an attempt to reduce noise on-screen.

However, if you have put data in the field, then the problem must be that the field is not on the screen you are using for viewing the issue.  Take a look at the issue-type-screen-scheme to check what screen is in use for the view and you'll find the field needs adding to it.

Okay, I confirmed what you're saying: he field is only being displayed on issues where the value is not null.  Thanks!
