Adding the Component option

I would like to add the components feature in to my sandbox project so i can test a work in take set up. There is no contact form set up for a jira admin so i would like to know how i can get it added to my newly created test project. here is the link to the project..

Are you on Company Managed project or a Team ? Components are not supported for Team Managed projects.

Maybe the project type selected doesn't support Components in your case. If you are on a Company Managed, you should be able to see them on the left menu - Project Setting.

i think i selected team managed if i remember correctly. how can i change this? or do i need to create a new project

Looks like I am unable to create a new company managed project. It asks to go through the jira admin but there are no contact details for it. oh well.
