I seem to missing my advanced search feature that I normally see when I click on the Search bar.   Also when I go to Filters->Advanced Issue Search and attempt to search via a field like Request Type I get the following error: "To search by Request Type please switch to advanced" .   Seems like this only started happening today, although possibly at some point this week.   But I know I had the option available to me last week.   Any know of anything that might have changed? Screenshot from 2020-07-22 11-54-21.png

Sigh... :-(

yes i ran into that yesterday. it appears that it has recently been removed either by accident or on purpose. What is displayed when you click on Search has changed so frequently that I can't keep up. On a good note, the other buttons (issues, boards, etc) is now back. Two methods to consider...

  • enter "g" then "i"  - this is the quickest as long as you are on a device with a keyboard
  • click search and click "Issues" at the bottom...at least for now. ;-)

i expect they are rolling this out now. but it might return in some form. i have provided feedback requesting such.

I tried it and I am not seeing that issue currently, and I didn't see anything on the Atlassian status page indicating an open incident: https://status.atlassian.com/ . 

I suggested clearing your browser cache to see if that resolves it.
