After I create a ticket, how can I make Jira automatically show it?

When I create a ticket, I get a brief notification that usually goes away too quickly for me to note the ticket number. In order to see what I just created I have to explicitly view my created tickets. Is there a way to have Jira change to that ticket upon creation?

@Julian Burger,

Welcome to community; Here is the thread for similar request

https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Create-issue-should-open-ticket-automatically/qaq-p/44886

Please go through the comments and there is solution. I suggest to try it in dev before using in Prod

If you don't wish to go the route of custom JS or the add-on mentioned in the previous post, a helpful note that you may not realize is that after you create the issue and the message window appears and disappears, you can click "Issues" in the top navigation bar, and the topmost "recent issue" will be the one that you just created.
