Hi Team,

We have multi-select field and it having some values in it with None value.

And we have Javascript to show/hide 'user picker' & 'check box' fields based on the above multi-select field values, everything was working fine until enable of 'multiselect.frother.renderer'.

Please need help, thanks

Regards

Tejas

Hi Tejas,

Being this is a dark feature, it's not officially supported within the product just yet.  That dark feature is intended to allow these multiselect fields to utilize a render like that of the labels will use to be able to autocomplete results when typing in that field.  Could you explain how exactly this is not working as expected here?  Is the enabling of that dark feature no longer hiding these specific values of that field?

Instead of using that dark feature, perhaps you can try to follow this KB instead:

How to enable Autocomplete Renderer for Multi-Select Custom Field in JIRA
It provides some steps you can take to craft a javascript code that can then exist in the announcement banner or possibly a field description to allow that field to render differently here.

I hope this helps.

You also need to enable the flag to enable HTML rendering in custom field for the Solution 2 to work in the above link
