After upgrading to Jira 9.0.0, the Structure Plugin returns a HTTP Status 405 – Method Not Allowed

We recently upgraded to Jira 9.0.0 Server from 8.22.0.

When we try to access the installed Structre PlugIn (tried top bar, project administration and App Configuration), we get:

HTTP Status 405 – Method Not Allowed

Type Status Report

Beschreibung The method received in the request-line is known by the origin server but not supported by the target resource.

Any ideas, whats wrong?

Hello David,

we were using an older Version of Structure (7.3.0), which wasn't compatible with Jira 9. Upgrading to the newest Version 8.0.1 fixed this problem.

@Thomas Schubert Hello Thomas, I have developed a plugin and it is working fine in version 7.13.0 to version 8.2.7 but when I upgrade my Jira to version 9.10.0 and using it, it gets 405 error showing "The method received in the request-line is known by the origin server but not supported by the target resource." can you please tell me the solution for this.

Jira version 9.10.0 is compatible with Structure versions 8.3.1 and higher, so if you have an older Structure version we suggest to upgrade and see if it helps.

If it doesn't, please reach out to us directly and submit a request at our support portal. We'll be back with you shortly and investigate this problem.

There is no official compatibility between Jira 9.10 and Structure versions 8.3.0 and older. The 8.2.1 or any other older version can potentially work in some capacity, but it is not expected and we can't guarantee it.

Please use the Structure version history page for reference to make sure that your Structure & Jira versions are compatible. If the versions are not compatible, an upgrade should help. If it doesn't - please reach out to us directly at our portal.
