Am facing issue when simplified jira board settings

Hi, am facing one issue after simplified my project, am not able to see Add Status under board settings. Could you please help me on this case?

Hi Jay - Could you give us some more details? Is it a Next-gen project? Classic Project?

What type of board - Scrum? Kanban?

Typically when your problem happens, the underlying workflow used by the board has been changed from a Simplified Workflow to a shared workflow. Therefore the only way to modify the workflow to add a Status is to go to Settings > Issues > Worfklows

There you can find your workflow and edit it to add a new status.

I have both Board in each project. 1 for Scrum Board for Development. 1 for Kanban Board for Release

Added all the required status, but am not able to see "Done" consider as burndown chart as attached in my previous screenshot

is it possible to make a call?

This is my problem. i hope if we change to Green and associated with status to done, then our problem got resolved.

Ah, I see now. Done has to be the last column on a Scrum board.

Actually we have created the following as per our requirement

Development Scrum Board

1. Sprint Backlog (To do)

2. In Development

3. Ready for Testing

4. In Testing

5. Testing Failed

6. Done (This should be definition of done, burndown chat should be linked)

7. Ready for Staging

Kanban Board - for Release

1. Ready. for Staging

2. Testing Staging

3. Staging Failed

4. Beta Testing

5. Beta Failed

5. Release

I hope this was careated and seems fine, now some one updated and got changed.

Now burndown chat also not mapped with Done status it is taking from "Ready for Staging". Could you please help me to resolve this issue.

You need to move the Done column to the last column of the board.

If it is done then you don’t keep working on it.

If there still work to do on it and it finishes that stage, you can’t mark it doing. If you want it to be done then you should create a new card with the rest of the work.
