HI!
Can you please tell me when uploading files is there a virus check?
Or should I enable this check myself with any antivirus?
Thank you!
Hi @Анастасия ,
there's an open request about that https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-73340
As said by Atlassian Team in this thread (https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Virus-Detection-Functionality-in-JIRA-Cloud/qaq-p/764970)
I'm afraid Jira cloud does not have virus detection functionality.
We do have internal virus protection and it will stop the rendering of previews of affected files.
You would still require end users to have local virus protection if they download affected attachments.
Hope this helps,
Fabio
You would want to check files outside of Jira. If you want to know more about Atlassian security initiatives please see this site - https://www.atlassian.com/trust
