I am having trouble integrating Jira and BugHerd. I'd like tasks that my team creates in BugHerd to show up in Jira. We've turned on the integration in BugHerd. BugHerd has sufficient access to browse projects and issues on the Jira side, but seems not to be able to create issues in my Jira project. I am an admin in both Jira and BugHerd but can't see which settings I need to update or if there are specific system users I need to provide access to. BugHerd documentation is . . . let's say slim. Anyone been successful with this?

Did you try to reach out to the vendor? Sometimes they have documentation or links to some steps to help with the integration. Otherwise may be try through REST API.

Hi Fadoua! I did reach out to the vendor: their documentation doesn't help me with figuring out the permissions they need on the Jira side.

How about Jira Connector to help with the integration?

Yep, that's what I'm using. I have the connector up and apparently running. The connector is able to browse projects in my Jira, but it can't seem to create issues in it.
Thanks for looking into this . . . it sounds like you haven't set up the connector successfully yourself. I will continue to plug away. Thanks.

Wishing you best of luck! I never used that plugin.
