Application link between jira and confluence

Mahdi Mohammadnejad January 26, 2023

Hi Guys

I've installed jira and confluence in cluster. Also i used ssl for jira and confluence And successfuly linked 2 applications together.

I changed ssl certificate and after that i import public ssl certificate to JVM based on this link, https://confluence.atlassian.com/kb/how-to-import-a-public-ssl-certificate-into-a-jvm-867025849.html

Also I turned off firewall between these 2 apps.

But now I'm unsuccessful to link these 2 apps and get this error, "The remote certificate can't be trusted"

Could you please help me to solve it?

I would check that you are using the right java install

Make sure you are importing the certificate into the java keystore for the java install that is used by Jira and confluence. Jira and Confluence (particularly older versions) came with their own Java install. In this case you would not install into the System Java home, but into the one under your jira and confluence installation. Just install both certs into both keystores (the java install for jira and the java install for confluence)
