How can I create a new module in jira assets

Hi @anvesh reddy 

To use Assets you must be on the premium plan of JSM. Here are some links to get you started:

Yes I do have premium plan, but from where we need to create new modules in assets.

@anvesh reddy start by creating an object schema first: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/create-an-object-schema/

To create an object schema, you need to be logged in as a Jira admin.

1. Select Assets in the top navigation bar.

2. Select Object schemas.

3. Select Create object schema in the top right corner.

4. Enter information about your object schema, including:

   • Name - a name for your object schema.

   • Key – this is a unique key to identify your object schema.

   • Description - a description of your object schema.

5. Select Create.

1. Select Assets in the top navigation bar.

2. Select Object schemas.

3. Select the object schema where you want to create an object type.

4. Select Create object.

5. In the popup window:

   1. Select an object type for the object.

   2. Enter a name for the object.

   3. Enter information for any other attributes that are displayed.

   4. Select Create. To create another object immediately after, select the Create another checkbox then select Create.
