I am associating custom screens in my custom screen scheme with Issue Operations, I have been able to select Create, View and Edit but there is no option for Resolve. Am I looking in the wrong place please?
Resolve issue screen is generally part of the workflow transition. So when your issues goes from "in progress" to "closed" let's supposed then in the transition properties you can select the screen which you want to display to the user. Generally it's the default resolve issue screen. But you can also create an custom resolve screen having resolution and other fields which you want to have a value before the issues is actually closed.

Many thanks Tarun for your answer,
I think I made my question a little too complicated, the resolution was much easier than expected and showed my inexperience with the tool. I was trying to find an association to the Close screen when the only available options in the direct association panel are Add, View, or Edit
When you want to add a custom closure or even approval screen:
- Create the screen and add the fields that you want to display
- Add the screen to the screen scheme for the project it relates to
- In the workflow select the transition that you want to manage on the new (close) screen
- In the transition itself select the screen
- Publish the workflow
I noticed today there is now a way to associate a single 'multipurpose' screen to all operations in a project related to a specific issue type. It is in the project settings area, you can choose to use the multipurpose screen from the Issue Type option in the Project Settings menu. That makes it a bit easier for new developers to get to grips with setting up a simple project.
