Atlassian Dashboard Will Not Load in Any Browser on Any System

JT January 24, 2019

JIRA Cloud

Starting today, the Atlassian Dashboard will not load in any browser on any system.

Upon login, the user is "stuck" at their Atlassian Account page.

The issue is on Atlassian's end; it has nothing to do with specific systems.

Whatever "SSO fix" was implemented has broken Atlassian\JIRA Cloud organization-wide.

Whatever is going on needs to be fixed !

Hello,

The Atlassian Account page (id.atlassian.com) is intended to don't display the dashboards and sidebars referent to any sites the user might be added to.

This behavior is not a problem, but an expected configuration since a user can be added to multiple sites and it would not make sense to display the site data on id.atlassian.com.

That been said, JIRA sites have a different domain and address in the format xyz.atlassian.net. Can you please confirm if the users are logging in the correct Atlassian Site instead of id.atlassian.com?

If they are trying to login to a valid Atlassian Site and they are being redirected to id.atlassian.com, check if they have the product access required. You can follow the steps below to do it:

1 - Navigate to user management > Click in the user (...) > Show product access

2 - Check if the user is properly added to your applications

For more information about it, check the documentation below:

Manage Sites and Product Acess

Let me know if this information helps.

When one searches online for "Atlassian login", it returns id.atlassian.com.

We use JIRA, Confluence and Bitbucket.

Atlassian needs to get its login URLs sorted out.
