Hi there,
We have a scrum board that pulls tickets from kanban projects which initially has tickets on 'Backlogs'. On this scrum board, we want to change the status automatically from 'Backlog' to 'TO DO' when adding the backlog ticket to an active sprint. How do we go about that please?
Thank you.
Can do it with Automation, will be something like the below -
You might not need the condition for sprint in OpenSprints() but give it a bash and see what happens.
Hi @andrew_pass
Thank you for your response. I'd like to explore this option more but somehow it's failing and I don't know why. The idea is there - that whenever a ticket with a 'Backlog' status enters an active sprint (regardless if it's a newly created sprint or anytime within the time of the sprint), it will transition the ticket status automatically to 'TO DO'. - so I'm not sure why it's not working.

Hi @Trudy Claspill and @andrew_pass
I tried without the sprint in OpenSprints() and it worked
How to do the reverse automation, that is when a ticket is moved out of the sprint to backlog to change its status to 'Backlog' automatically??
