Automation: Can I add my tickets to active sprint?

Could you explain how automate: if I add a task, it is being added to the active Jira sprint by default?

I don't get your issue I think.

You add a new issue in a project and it's auto added to an active sprint, is this correct?

Check for any automations running on the project.

to clarify: when I add a ticket, I want to automate that it gets added to the active sprint (last sprint)

"add a ticket" do you mean create an new issue in the project, based on a certain user?

Rule:

• Trigger -> Issue Created
• Condition -> User Condition, reporter is "operations account"
• Edit -> Choose Sprint field and add to active sprint on correct scrum board
