I want to create an automation where if a user is mentioned in the comment section, the user should get notified via email. Is there a way to do it? Or does JIRA has an in-built capability where the user gets notified automatically when mentioned?
Hello @Habeeb Khan
A user is automatically notified when they are mentioned in an issue.
However, a user can disable that in their personal settings, by changing the "Send me email" to "Don't send me email" or by unchecking the "Someone mentions you" box.
Thank you so much @Trudy Claspill . Is there a way to get notified on Slack as well? Should the user use JIRA bot for this?
