I'm trying to get an automation to created sub issues if the customer selects multiple options from a custom field but can't seem to figure it out.
I have a custom field (Service type) where the customer can select up to 7 options. My current automation creates a story issue for each service type option selected under the parent epic. I'd like it to only do so if more than 1 options are selected.
Can anyone help with a possible condition that will count if more 1 options are selected?
Thanks.
Hi Norman,
Can you share the rule that you have so far?
It's actually pretty straight forward - you have a condition that checks for the value of the Service Type field and creates a new issue if it matches.
Then you can add a branch under that to create multiple sub-task issues.
Hi John,
Thanks for the quick response. Perhaps I'm over thinking it. Here's what I have so far:

Actually just saw from another post I can use the smart value:
{{issue.customfield_XXXX.size}}
So I'll store that in a custom field that can then subsequently trigger the appropriate actions.
