Zeeshan Haider October 20, 2022

Hello everyone , can someone please help me regarding this.

I have set up and automation of Due date which shows up automatically , that works fine. Now I want to set it up the transition to late and over due after particular days.

I have created my automation rule but it gives me error and the tickets are not moving automatically from late to overdue ?

Hi Zeeshan - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Can you please share the rule that you have so far and the error you are getting?

Thanks for adding that. And can you add post the error from the Audit Log?

So, it looks like the transition has a screen attached to it - is that the case? If so, automation will not be able to automatically move the issue because it can't filling in a screen on the fly like that.

You would need to create another transition to the same status with a Condition that has just the atlassian-addons user who can execute it (and project the Jira Administrators group). Name the transition something like System Transition to Late or something other than what the current one is.

I don't understand it, as all my workflows can transition into each other , below I have attached a picture.
