I have a form that users submit but when I go into the issue, it is not associated to a project. How can I automate so that all issues generated by this form is added to a specific project?
@Frances Suazo It isn't possible to have an issue that is not associated with a project. Can you provide a screenshot of what you are seeing?

Technically, the location of this button "Add project" is for when you need to add a parent for this issue. (+1 level)

When using Smart Forms for Jira, you can ensure that all issues generated by a form are automatically assigned to a specific project during creation. Here’s how you can do it:
1️⃣ Go to the Smart Form Settings
2️⃣ Assign a Default Project
3️⃣ Automate Issue Routing with Jira Automation (Optional)
If you need more dynamic control, you can set up a Jira Automation rule:
✔ Every form submission automatically creates an issue in the correct project.
✔ No manual project assignment needed.
✔ If additional routing logic is required, Jira Automation can handle it.
Would you like a step-by-step guide on setting this up? Happy to help! 😊

Hi Frances - All forms are attached to a project. You create the form inside the project therefore it is attached.
