Backlog does not display

This issue is intermittent.  I have the active sprint as my default page. As product owner I often switch to the backlog to add, amend or reschedule tasks, however clicking on the backlog button on the quick toolbar, the browser progress indicator is slow to get to 100% and when its finished the URL tells me I am on the backlog, but the page contents is still showing the active sprint.  I have not found a reliable way to switch views. This used to work a dream 100% reliable before they changed the layout and moved many items from the left hand menu to the over the top toolbar.  This is slowing down my ability to function effectively.  Even clearing the browser cache makes no difference.

• Have you tried using a different browser?
• Have you tried removing Backlog from the view, then adding it back?

I only use Microsoft Edge and no I have not tried the remove and restore trick.
