Backlog items not visible after update

I've updated our Jira server instance to version 8.16.1 today. 

After the update I can't see the issues in my backlog in the backlog planning board.

The "Create Sprint" button is also gone.

I've checked the permissions and project settings, but I couldn't find anything wrong.

What could be the reason for this issue?

Nevermind. I've made a mistake and used the Jira core installer. After upgrading with the Jira Software Installer it's now working again.

Hi @Dako 

I've got the exact same issue but I've installed Core, Service Management and Software to the latest versions and it's still a problem.  Do you run multiple applications or just Core and Software?

I installed Service Management last so I've got the nasty feeling I'm going to have to re-install software again!

I'm only running Core and Software and after I've installed Software the issue was resolved.
