Backlog status

Hi  I have created a Kanban board and do not want to have a backlog status. However even if I remove it, when I run a rule tickets still go into the backlog status.  Does anyone know why that might be happening.

Hi Shari,

The Backlog status comes from the Workflow. So you will need to modify the workflow to have the Create transition to go to a status different than the Backlog status.

Have you published the workflow? Can you share a screenshot of your Board Settings for the Columns?
