Hi,
By mistake I switched to the Advanced search in Jira and now I can't go back to basic search, (the option is not even displayed as it should, see ref here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver0820/advanced-searching-1095249245.html#:~:text=The%20following%20is%20the%20example%20of%20an%20advanced%20search%20query%20in%20Jira%20that%20returns%20all%20issues%20for%20the%20Teams%20in%20the%20Space%20project.%C2%A0 )
This is how it looks on my end:
I'm really frustrated on this.
If you tried searching for the issues in quick search in DC, You can also start a new search by going to Issues > Search for Issues again, and this time, choose Basic Search without switching to Advanced mode. If it doesn't work, reach out to your Admin and may be some settings like switching from Basic to Advanced is restricting you to appear it again. Some older versions or custom configurations might not support reverting to Basic once a complex JQL query is used.

Hi @David Vazquez welcome to the community. Do you know if you're using the Data Center version or the cloud version of Jira?
I found JRASERVER-45037 on Atlassian's Jira site, I'm wondering if this could be your issue. Is your username all in uppercase? If that's the case you can vote for and watch this issue for updates.
Hope that helps.

Thanks, but no... The big issue is that I don't even have the possibility to see "Basic Search" in my Search bar.
