Basic setup of Backlog

A very basic question: As new user of JIRA, I have chased thru a dozen Atlassian docs ... looking a.o. for how to control which information to show in one row of the standard Backlog. How to control this ?

Hello Arne,

To add/remove fields from cards on Backlog or Board view you can navigate to your board > Click on the three-dot Icon (...) at the top-right corner > Board Settings, then click on the Card Layout option to edit it as you need.

Yes, this is a good feature - however it forces me to spend to rows on the screen per each issue/user story, and that was not what I wanted :-)

Could you please provide us an example of how you would like the info to be added to your board?

Maybe we can find a plugin to achieve your need.
