Hi,
We want to safely trial some plugins and keep the risks to our live data to a minimum.
What is the best way to do this?
Ideally, we would like to copy specific projects to a separate instance of Jira where we can experiment without fear of doing any harm.
Thanks
/Louis
Hi Louis,
you can create a free developer instance of Atlassian Cloud
Due to the limited users I suggest disabling access for new users.
Go to Product access and disable access for new users.
I suggest you only keep the default access group for each product. If you only have one admin, you might keep those groups but it might be a good idea to at least remove it from JSD as there’s only one agent license.
Thanks Johan, but that has only 7 days duration. What about something permanent?

Louis, normally you'd get a free permanent instance with 5 Jira / Confluence users and one 1 JSD agent.

Looks like it's using the regular Cloud trial sign up again. I've mentioned it at the Developer community.
I suggest trying again in a few days but that's really what you need for testing and validating Atlassian Cloud apps.

@Louis Mehr it will not say developer instance anymore.
Here's a quote from the dev community:
"Looks like it’s working as expected. I got all 4 products. They say free trial but will always say that… they don’t say developer instances. If you don’t go over 5 users for Jira, and Confluence and don’t go over 1 JSD user agent you won’t get billed."
