Dear all,
We face man time licence expiration of plugin in our jira data center intance as most of the time we are not all day checking that or if we are on holiday or stuf like this.
I was wondering if there is a way or a reliable solution which will offer licence monitoring of plug-in and send for intance notification in slack (or email) when it reach a certain trigger
Any implementation of such in your end to share ?
Regards
Hi @serge calderara ,
billing contacts for your licenses should receive e-mail notification some time before the expiration.
this is not what I mean
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
If you mean, that you want to have database of licenses (not only for Atlassian), I would recommend you Assets (formerly Insight) app. It is possible to create object for every license with various attributes and use automation functionality for notifications.
I believe it is included in Jira DC now, but I’m afraid it is not possible to purchase it for server anymore.

Hi @serge calderara ,
Welcome to the community !!
There is no notification reminder for license expires.
What I follow is,
When an app is licensed/installed, I create a ticket in its name and add due date with license expiry date. Create a filter with JQL "duedate = 30d" and add subscription to it. i.e. to run daily and uncheck "Email this filter, even if there are no issues found"

sounds a good approach.
I thought someting could be possible through REST API maybe ?
