BigPicture - My progress does not show up on the task bar

Deleted user August 19, 2021

Hi all,

I have checked all configurations/settings so that i would be able to see the progress in the Gantt chart.

However, it doesn't update as per the columns.

I'm probably missing something here, but can someone please help?1.PNG2.PNG

Hi @[deleted]

Can you share what you have in the configuration settings for the progress field?

Hi,

Thank you for your answer, i did find that link and read it.

I managed to figure it out in the end, I can just type in the progress as it is not linked to anything.

However, it did lead me to another question: why is it changing my 'Time Trackng (Spent)' when i change my 'Progress'?

Do you know how they are linked?

Best regards.

Hi @[deleted]

It is probably due to the setup which you have configured in the App Technical Configuration, for "Progress", where one of the available options is actually Time Tracking Progress (Spent). You can check it easily by navigating to "Jira Administration -> Manage Apps -> BigPicture/Gantt Technical Configuration -> General -> Tasks: Progress

When it comes to Task Progress in general, I also highly recommend taking a look at the below page from our documentation, dedicated to this very subject:

- Task Progress

Hi Adam,

The settings were already correct.

I got it as well, the system was changing the Time tracking, but once i hit refresh it would go back to normal.

So all good now.

Thank you for your support and taking the time to answer my question.

Best regards.
