Hello,
I would like to create a Jira project were task status can only be change by manager and subtask status can be change all users. I do it by using workflows but I found a "workaround" where user can create a subtask, convert it to task and select any status for this one, bypassing "change status" rights.
Can I block this (disable convert subtask to task) or force converted task's status (maybe with workflow configuration)?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Alright, I found another option that is a lot more simple. Apparently all you need to do is...
Remove subtask from Issue Type Scheme for that project and not subtasks allowed. Answered my own question.
I believe I found a link that will help you out. I have not tested myself, but check it out.

Thanks for your help, Raynard.
Unfortunately, this solution disable the conversion for all projects and I would like to block it only for one.
