When searching in for an issue in the board with the search field the search field looses focus after some time and jumps to the board by selecting a matching issue.
This is very inconvenient as you might be typing when the search field looses focus and then get unexpected behavior.
It seems to happen only when you have selected (and opened) an issue before.
See the following video to view the issue:

Anyone experience the same behavior or have a solution for that?
Just chiming in to say I'm having this issue as well in Chrome on Mac. I think it's been happening since late last year. All those keyboard shortcuts are a double-edge sword, triggering all sorts of potentially destructive behaviour should the search field lose focus.
Hello @Andreas Graßer
Sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue. The search field for the board works if you start typing even a letter that generates the issues containing that specific letter, for example:
This shouldn't be happening, since the search results are based on the keywords that you enter and will reflect to every issue that contains that keyword.

thank you for your answer. Please see this video below for clarifying the case.

The first search works, but in the second search when I am typing "vi" the issue in the board (which is not the only one matching the search case) is selected and the cursor does not stay in the search field.

Yes, I see it now. From my side it is working as intended. I added a label for Atlassian folks to see about this as well. Because this seems like a bug.
