Hi,
I edited the workflow for one of my projects.
Before, when I dragged an issue card to a status column to which it cannot move, the column was highlighted in a reddish colour to indicate that the card cannot move there due to the restrictions of the workflow.
Now when I try to move a card, to a column it cannot move to on the board, the column is no longer highlighted.
I have 20 Statuses and I am wondering if this is the issue- due to a large number. Could it be or there is another problem?
Please advise. Thanks
tbh I´ve never experienced this behaviour.
As far as it´s "only" not higlighting the column I assume it´s a change in the UI. Does the restrction of your board still works as designed?

The column highlighting was working one moment and then not working the next within the same day that is why I doubt it is a UI change.
The restriction according to the workflow are otherwise working just fine. Only problem is there is no feedback when the issues are being moved if the move is not possible, which is a big issue especially for a person who is not very familiar with the workflow.

Barnett

As mentioned I haven‘t seen this behaviour before.
Personally I get feedback the ofher way round:
The columns that an issue is allowed to be transitioned are highlighted green when I drag the issue. Columns that aren‘t allowed to be transitioned to are not highlighted either.
Which browser are you working with? Is it a company or team managed project? Kanban or Scrum? Could you also share a screenshot of your board settings?

Hi @Stefan Salzl . You are helping me with another issue and I thought you might be able to assist with this one as well. The issue has not received any response since I posted.
Thanks,
Barnett
