Board's setting

vladislav_aseyev April 19, 2020

Hi,

I use Jira cloud.

We have a board with only ServiceDesk tasks for all projects, and many people have access to it.

Is it possible to set the board to display the tasks for user only project he has access/permission?

Hi Vladislav - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

There are a couple of different ways to approach this. One is to edit the Permissions on each project so that the users do not have access to those projects. Then they would not see requests from those projects on the board.

Another way is to create a separate board for each Project - but that would not be the best.

If it is just a matter of too many cards showing up on the board and that confuses the user, you could create a Quick Filter on the board for each project. Then the user could simply click on the quick filter(s) for the projects the user wants to see. But if you do not want the users to have access to them at all, then that would not work.

I hope one of those options will work for you. There might even be others.
