Board scrollbar missing: Can't see all boards in project??

Raju Anumula May 2, 2018

Hi Team,

We have more than 50 boards configured in the  project. When we try to bring up the list of boards by click the "..." link in the upper left hand corner the list trails off the bottom of the screen. Normally there is a scrollbar on the right hand side to get to the rest of the boards, but it has gone missing for the last week.

please help me how to rectify this problem.

Thanking you in advance.

Hi Raju,

This is a bug.  Please see https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWSERVER-15867 for more details.   It appears that this happens when the project sidebar has been minimized.  The current work-around is to expand that side bar.  When you do this, then that dropdown does show a scroll bar.

I hope this helps.

Andy

I'm not sure if my issue is related to the issue mentioned above, in my case, the scrollbar on a Jira issue is missing, see https://www.screencast.com/t/JYBbi1aDISq. Browser used is Chrome

This is not the same thing.  In Raju's case, he was referring to Jira Server, you clearly are using Jira Cloud (because your site has an atlassian.net domain, we know this is an Atlassian Cloud product).  Also Raju's problem is specific to listing which boards appear in a project when clicking on the ellipsis (...) in the top left corner of the page.

In your case, I'd recommend creating a separate case on https://support.atlassian.com/contact/ or creating a separate thread here on https://community.atlassian.com

I would start by trying other browsers, and trying your Chrome browser in an incognito session to understand if there is possibly a browser extension causing this behavior or if the problem is wider ranging than that.  Are other users of your Jira site having this same problem?  Or just you?  I would also be interested to understand what the browser console log shows when loading this page.  I'm interested to see what errors/warnings might be appearing there, perhaps all the code on the page is not loading correctly.
