Hai,
I am new to Jira
please help me.
Would I like to import 'Story' and 'sub-task' from the CSV file to JIRA linking to the New story?
thanks in advance
Hi @jeevan, Could you please elaborate on the complete business context (use case) here. That would help in suggesting a relevant solution. The above links suggested by @Walter Buggenhout are definitely useful.

Hai
I have a Jira project. In that project, I want to create a new story with a sub-task through a CSV file. I don't know how to create a CSV file which means I don't know what his issue id and the parent id are?
can u explain how to create it in a CSV file?
thanks in advance

Hi @jeevan As mentioned by Walter please read the article closely, especially the section "Creating sub-tasks". Please show what error are you getting after trying.

Hi @jeevan,
First of all, have a look at this support article to get you started on the core principles of csv-import. You can read there how you should structure the file etc. It even has a specific section on importing sub-tasks.
In the example given in that article, very long issue id's are being mentioned. I can recommend this related question to find a bit more context.
Hope this helps!
